For real though, this is an important piece for me because my Mother gave it to me along with a bunch of other legos she managed to have as a kid or from one of her brothers. So it's super old.

I was referring to what appears to be super glue on the desk top in the picture.

The piece is quite interesting... I am used to seeing 4 x 12s as a sheet, not as a thick platform.

Quite an interesting colour too. I've never seen Lego in that colour before. How old is your mother Clarence?
To be honest my first thought was: "Did they have Lego that long ago?", untill I realised that she must be about my age.

We actually had a few like that. I have no idea where they came from. Most of the legos were my older brothers before they were ours.
