here's a fun fact for the day: the navy dress blues are ridiculously traditional. so much so, that they still have no zippers. the have a front flap with 13 buttons, and they lace in the back. with some practice, you can get out of them in a jiff, but getting back in... not so easy!

Everywhere around the world ppl 'updating' the uniform they wear. making them more comfortable and stuff.. that is weird that nobody thought of doing something about those buttons.
Or maybe its like that just to make it harder on you sailors to take'em off and on when you're 'going out'..

yeah, that is a theory. a lot of people just get velcro sewn into them and solve al the problems!
