Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
Well, the trailer was leaked early today (was supposed to be released this week at Comic-Con) and the people over at TrailerAddict still have it up. Go watch it while you still can. I've got it downloaded, so if it goes down I'll just throw it on Youtube...

Honestly, I was hoping for a 'darker' approach, for it being Tim Burton/Johnny Depp, but with that duo, you are never disappointed. Oh, and the Chesire Cat is epic. I'll probably be switching my avatar very soon

I can't wait for this movie! I love it when Burton, Depp and Bonham-Carter get together, and I've always wanted to see Tim Burton take on this story.

Hmm, it took me a while too. It is an HD trailer, and I had to wait for about 30 seconds for it to buffer...Blondie wrote:I can't see it. I got excited for a second, but it just won't work for me.

nah, it shows nothing, because it has been out for months, and they only started releasing photos of the real movie for a couple weeks. I'm still looking for a leaked copy.

Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
I loved the subtle connection with Sweeny Todd and Edward Scissor Hands.
Johnny Depp, with scissors for hands, and Depp with razors, like an extension to his arms. Brilliant.
Just give me a moment or two to compose myself again.

Yeah, and I was so glad that Helena Carter played the part of Mrs. Lovett. She was perfect for the part if you ask me.

Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
Yeah, completely right for the part.
Especially the part where she is singing about the friendship they have together, and he is singing about his knives, all at the same time!
Silver and rubies are mentioned, I seem to remember. She is singing about jewels and an engagement. He is singing about his silver knives and blood. Fantastic. Wish I'd seen the live musical now, but I would have wanted it to be Depp and Carter.
I didn't realise that either of them could sing.
Please don't hit me anyone, but Depp sings a lot like Bowie at times.
Love the pie song too. Mrs Lovett's meat pies.
