So I went to Avatar today and saw the 3D version. It was almost a 3 hr long movie but was completely worth it. It was literally the best movie I've seen in a very, very long time. The $300+ million and the 10 years they spent on making the movie definitely showed. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to see this movie. I won't really go into a lot of details because I don't want to give out any spoilers.

My friend wants me to go see that with her. Is it only in 3D?

I so want to go see this movie. I just hope I'm able to see the 3D effect.

There's the 3D version and non-3D. We went to the 3D one, which I was hesitant to see. I'm not big on 3D and I find it's usually crap. But the 3D in this movie was really good. I thought it was very visually appealing.

They're showing it over here, but I think it's only in non-3d.

The film is amazing. It's worth watching it on the big screen, in 3D.
It has broken a new barrier in film making.
Just as Star Wars did in the 70's.

I couldn't eat my pop corn, because I didn't want to look away from the screen.

Me and Pete may be seeing this tonight, but I dunno.... lately I don't trust movies..... it's way too hyped up to live up to itself.

Clarence you can trust me. It's amazing.
The glasses did give me a bit of a headache though.

Go and see it - trust me.

So apparently they're already thinking of a sequel and possibly even a third. This is highly disappointing to me. I don't think they should make this into a trilogy. I think they should leave it as a single movie. But regardless, it's definitely a must see.

Avatar is the best movie I've seen in the last decade. It's amazing to see any Cameron's movie for that matter. He is a real master of his work. Best.
I remember watching trailer before going to theater and i was really disappointed when i saw it. I just thought it's gonna sux. But then i read comments form people and whoever said he liked the movie didn't say it like that, but they said best movie in their lives. So, naturally i went to see it and in 3D - wow! Couldn't get nice tickets for a couple of weeks, everybody wanned to see it :D
When it ended i gave it a 9,5 outta 10. Only T2 has a full 10 and maybe two other films got 9... only didn't like that the characters are too black/white but Cameron has a way of making that a minor thing 8-)
It turns out its hard to make a great movie with real story & real characters - Jerry Springer show?

But the reason i post this is a Youtube movie review of Avatar, that i thought you must see, from the best movie reviewer i ever saw :)
*EDIT: Oh yea, review contains spoilers so don't watch if you plan to see the movie first !*

Maybe he becomes your best too, his Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (Ep1) is work of art (its 70 min long, but worth the watch)

Just had to.

If you loved Avatar, don't hate me for this.
I just found this a while after seeing Avatar, and I thought it was awesome. XD

If you don't bother following the link, let's just say Cameron might have taken a LITTLE inspiration from another movie.

Bah, I didn't watch avatar because I didn't like the whole plot idea. My parents thought I was crazy, but what do you know? May be I'm not so crazy after all.

Cameron needs some original ideas. You know he ripped off Titanic from some boat in real life? :?
