I wouldn't necessarily say that Johnny Depp could sing. Though Helena was definitely a surprise to me. I always wanted to see the musical before and never was able to. When this movie came it was the first time I ever watched Sweeney Todd.

Me too, I'd love to see it live on stage. (With Depp in of course)

Y'know.. I was never really a Johnny Depp fan until POTC. o.o Well, except for Edward Scissor Hands. That was one of my all-time favorite movies growing up.

Well I love Depp almost as much as Bowie.
I have said this before, but if there was ever any film made of Bowie's life, Johnny Depp could easily take the part of him.

Oh yes, yes, yes, that's a must see.
I like the way that they have combined the computer imagery with real images.
Thank you so much Pockets - do we really have to wait 'til March ?

Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
I'm kinda excited for this, although alot of paralels are being drawn between this and Sweeny Todd, and I haven't been able to watch the trailer as of yet, so I have to ask; is this a musical too?
Cuz, I just LOVE a movie where they cannot talk to each other unless they break into a song, like, Sweeny Todd? BRILLIANT! That movie bleed from it's every pour with awesomeness, the singing was absoultely fabulous! OK, all sarcasm aside, I hate musicals unless they are comedys, because they're pretty ubsurd. Not that I don't like ubsurd things, just not when they take themselves seriously.

And I said "Baby you're lookin' good",
