I am (not yet) going to own a Vega's . Foking Cerwin Vega .I got carried away.. and it might be 5-6 Of'em .
I am really excited , I will not turn them on for maybe a day or two . I wil get to know them first . TOUCH them ,Talk to them a little , Just watch'em standing indoors, in mafokingDoors .

It might happen tonight . Damn , I'm on the top of the world , i will be I mean.. Hopefully tonight .
Now i will only need to figure out how to pay back the money that i borrow , maybe find someone else to borrow from ? .. No big deal , I mean big deal ,But no one is like gonna die or some..

I ''thread'' it coz i just feel awesome . And yaknow.. great .

Hey, Effie. You don't need all 5 Cerwin Vegas at the same time.

Be patient. What did I say about a one night stand? Take it slow with these babies.

Truly appreciate what you have before you get all crazy and have an orgy of sound and then you just want more and more and more.

Two ears. Two speakers. That is all you need.

For now.

I'm getting ready to shoot my jbl out of my home . They are more then 10 years old , and preformed well . I cherish them but ..
smurf'em now. I never paid for'em anyway.

Two weeks ago , I happened to be in this shop to buy an electric wire..
Then i saw them Vega's ,they were off , i sat beside them on the floor like a homeless and just wondered for few minutes about that piece of art . I told it to someone here .. back then .
Now ,2weeks later . I smurf bought them out of nowhere .

I am patiently waiting for days now . They are beautiful , I tell you.

I have a broad grin on my face as well! In some cases brand loyalty is appropriate. Cerwin Vega is such a case. I will regale y'all with Vega stories soon...in the meantime, congrats Effie!

So, if I might ask, what Vegas did you just purchase? Also, what are ya driving them with? It's pretty important, but I will be counting on Ninja to explain the finer points of why, since he has just learned a bunch of stuff about Ohm's law and signal amplification & stuff. Incidentally, Zot & I may be evicticted soon because your love of the Vegas has inspired me to let our household Cerwin Vegas breathe a little bit...

Lol , Not really Bells , I did get a 40 minutes bass-drums-guitar-vocals-massage from'em (Dammit! really while laying on the floor you feel it better ), But that was about it. I am not really happy with the sound i get coz --To your question Bogz i'm driving them with pioneer 514 or something 120*5 watt ,Which is okay But not more then that .
I saw it coming .
But , that's a step closer to the perfect sound.

What makes you unhappy about the sound? You did get a massage, after all.Your amp may indeed be the problem, depending on your sonic tastes (like Zot said, two ears, two speakers. It is quite difficult anymore to find an amp that will provide clean power to only 2 channels). It is actually worse for speakers (especially CV) to underpower them than to overpower them. Neenjah, explain clipping to these folks!

I did get a massage , only from one and only cd . And it was 15% out of the 100% i could really get.
I was looking into 2 channels amp of 300 watt.Price was hillarious .
Most of my Ohems-watts-shaits that i know is from the 'ask the Zot' thread ,Lol,
What i didn't like is like missing the bass while playing --not load ,And while playing load it just .. messy..all over the place .. i don't know.. it is just NOT.

Acoustic musice sounds great (rediohead- or any other unplugged cd ) but when it comes to 'heavier' bands ,with lot'sa instruments +vocals and stuff it get messy..

No bass?!? Jesus! This will not do! Step 1) Check your wiring...phasing counts with this sorta thing...if you get the wires backwards you do get the kind of stuff you're describing. I'm not talking down to you, but make sure the red goes to red, & the black to black. I've actually made this mistake myself, and it makes a huge difference in your sound.
