It actually came out as a whole separate game with five campaigns, like 8 different factions, had flying units, and another type or two of resources. It was nuts but brought on a really interesting dynamic. I remember playing it on hard 4 cpu vs. 3 of my college buddies and I.... the game took longer than 4 hours and we cleared the map of trees.

I don't think we quite cleared the trees, but it was insane! Especially with the 1,000 Population mod!
