This recipe below was for a steak marinade that claims to be the best. We used some Omaha steaks that we still have from our Groupon. The marinade smelled sooooo good the entire time. The steaks didn't turn out bad. I think they would have been better grilled rather than broiled, but we don't have a grill. The twice baked potatoes were also from Omaha Steaks and incredibly delicious! Finally, a simple salad with Sean's favorite dressing, Virginia Brand Vidalia Onion Vinegarette. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Best-Steak ... oto_3&me=1
((I forgot to take a picture of Day 6. We were still recovering from the party, so dinner that night was ordered from daVinci's. It was eccellente!))
OH EM GEE! This soup is amazing. It is not spicy at all, so if you prefer more spice, I would suggest using more chiles in adobo sauce and additional cumin than in this recipe. We served each bowl with a heaping pile of extra sharp cheddar (always a must!), crushed tortilla chips, and a spoonful of sour cream. We made double batch to last all week. VERY GOOD! Highly recommend. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/12/croc ... -soup.html
Yeah, organic food is ridiculously expensive! I suppose it's worth it though. That chicken soup I made above was made with free-ranged, organic chicken breast. Just looking at it in the package looked a hell of a lot nicer than the regular chicken breasts. And the taste only proved it as well.
