Teeth and Dentists!

I've had three weeks of extensive treatment on a tooth, which had been extremely painful.
It has been root canal filled etc. The dentist said it was a little complicated because there was an extra side root or something?
Anyway after four visits to the dentist, and admittedly the pain has now gone, my tooth broke yesterday!
Yes, the same tooth!
They can't see me for another week, because it's not considered an emergency, because it is not hurting me.
The tooth is completely numb and dead, but the break is large and i'm so pissed off.

Does anyone else have all this kind of trouble at dentists, or is it just me?

Oh my, that sounds really bad. Luckily I had no big problems with dentists (only that I don't like having to go there), but a friend of mine had exactly the same problems you had and they wouldn't believe her at the beginning when she said her tooth hurt, because they couldn't discover anything on the X-ray. The first dentist messed up the root canal treatment, one of his tools broke and got stuck in the root, the second one she went to after the tooth still hurt discovered that and tried to remove it. After the treatment she waited for another appointment when her tooth broke in the middle. Having undergone all that torture for nothing. Now the tooth is history.

Having root canal treatment is not a comfortable experience at all. But to lose the tooth after all that, is awful.
I just hope that he can do something to mine, to save it now.

Maybe he covers it with a crown or something. But that you have to wait that long is really sucky. Good luck for you.

This could get really expensive - unless the work done recently is under some sort of guarantee?

I am not familiar with dentist thanks to me . i don't have anything helpful to say , SO i will just say.. Sorry to here about it .

Maybe it only happened because when you'll go to the next meeting you'll find million $ on the street or some?

I am sorry but it was funny reading about the tooth that finaly broke.
I had root treatment and is not a pleasant one,on the contrary,it could get painfull.i am sorry you've been through all that pain and forgive me for laughing!

I've had it with dentists! Today I got a letter from my orthodontist saying that I had to have consent before they could start with braces. I had my brace put on about 10 days ago.

I don't have problems with my teeth , never had root treatment or anything like that . But since i don't eat meat and fish i have this problem with my jaw . I cans still bj perfectly though..........
But i can live with it , I am expecting prob's in years from now..

Ef, you don't need meat and fish. You need the nutrients that they give, but there are other sources.

My teeth has always been in a very good cond' , never had prob's , But my jaw becomes loose on my teeth you know ...I need to eat ANIMALS ..or to look for the other sources ..So when it'll get to me ,it will be big time , Like losing all teeth. could be funny to watch. I promiss a pic' when that happens .
