It's amazing, I love the idea and can't wait to see a solar freaking roadway in my neighborhood.

What is an EMP burst, say, from a low-yield nuclear device, wipes out all active electronics? We would be driving on roads with no markings whatsoever. Well, if your car worked, which it wouldn't.
Also, runway? No. A 747 weights quite a few tons, and the friction it generates is insane. The grippy texture of these panels would be bad for the tires of the plane.
That being said, parking lots? Yes! Neighborhood streets? Yes! Outdoor shopping centers and public thoroughfares? Heck yes! You damn know Fremont Street in Vegas will be all over this!
