Whenever I watch the sports section of the news, I hear at least one mention of either Tebowmania or Linsanity, or both. Any comments on this?

I am not really in to sports. I view athletes as a special kind of celebrity. They have a ton of talent, but their fame comes on a whimsy. Who did they play? Who did they beat? Yeah, in the end it is all washed out in the white noise of publicity and trying to be part of the bandwagon.

I just heard that the host of the Bachelor had asked Tim Tebow to be on the show. What?!
