It isn't a stupid question. When you have a list of people it could be, the smaller the list, the more precise the questions have to be. I checked it was easy to find by Googling who I thought it might be and the words 'favourite film', so it can be done. I don't ask questions for no reason, else how would I have guessed that an actor's favourite film would be one I'd never heard of and expect it to be helpful.
