The open source is really cool. You get some great games evolving from fun little sandbox games that way. I am excited to see where this goes!

I'm amazed to see how much money they've raised in such little time. It just goes to show that the world needs a new console, one that can actually cater to the individual developers.

Remember the "Playstation Black" from a bunch of years ago? It was designed for people to be able to write their own PS games. Only a few were made, and they were only available in Japan. One was a game where you actually fold a piece of paper and make a paper airplane. Awesome!

True, but the technology today and the android platform are a lot easier to develop for. I like that airplane idea, that's pretty neat. I think there will definitely be a lot of room for growth in this new console. At least I hope so anyway.
